Multi-D : 2D (film, 1982):
"During the Seventies and Eighties, Ludo Mich intensively experimented with holography as a new medium in art. His aim was not to manufacture beautiful reproducable 3D images, but to process the essence of multiple dimensions. In his self-built lab he researched systems for holo-cinema and holo-sonics (images that make sound waves visible).

This 2D film from 1982, composed of a mixture of techniques (including celluloid, video, laser light and animation) served as visuals to his holographic installations. A brand new camera was even destroyed while filming, burned by laser beams.

On February 24th 2007, during the celebration of ten years Cinema Nova in downtown Brussels, this digitized version of Multi-D : 2d was screened, accompanied by a live performance of The Joyous Cosmology (Djuna Michielsen, Maarten Tibos, Niko Rubbens, Frank Vranckx, Hans De Ley)."
Interplanetary Experiences (performance, 1971):
"From February 17 till 20, 1971, Ludo Mich organized a Saturn themed Fluxus Festival in the chapel of De Zwarte Panter gallery in Antwerp, Belgium. On the fluorescent invitations shaped like a planet with rings, the Antwerp performer, musician, artist and underground filmmaker announced these four days as "Interplanetary Experiences". The happening included assemblies, performances, sculptures, improvised music, experimental films (including the premiere of Saturn) and a space theater play with grunting piglets unleashed upon the visitors."

The making of Lysistrata (1976):
From the liner notes: "Filmmaker, painter, sculptor, holographer, musician, performance artist and Fluxus associate Ludo Mich adapted Aristophanes' bitingly satirical poetic comedy into a strictly personal ludic burlesque. All actors perform naked. This was due not simply to the budget being too small to accomodate the appropriate costumes and regalia; the director also intended to use this particularity to heighten the impact of Aristophanes' anarchistic ideas. The original version was shot in a mixture of Dutch and (mainly) English. This highly personal, eccentric interpretation was shown at film festivals and museums worldwide."

Video: Chris Goyvaerts, Roger Steylaerts, Cherica Convents, Flor Bex.

Cast: Jacques Ambach, Guillaume Bijl, Annie Cré, Armand De Hesselle, Frieda Diels, Herman De Laet, Denis Denys, Emi Denys, Nicole Van Goethem, Vera Goyvaerts, Jozef Hermans, Erik Kloek, Alain Mathijssens, Ria Pacquée, Jan Terbruggen, Daniel Weinberger, Frans Weyler.

From the liner notes: "Saturnus (1971) by Ludo Mich (filmed with a self made fish-eye lens) is one of the top works of Belgian underground cinema, still fascinating young generations everywhere. Strange pictures and sounds are received from outer space, they show us the bizarre life on one of the moons of Saturn. In a self-designed setting, several characters: a king, a queen, torturers, gladiators and bush women. They speak an unintelligible language (Lingala) and are dressed up grotesquely, painted Ensorian style. The soundtrack for Saturnus was made using fucked up sound sculptures, heavy tape machines, non stop sax outburst and African poetry and was released in 2005 as part of the Ultra Eczema LP Music from Films by Ludo Mich. One of the leading roles is played by Nicole Van Goethem (1941-2000), Oscar Winner for her animation film Een Griekse Tragedie in 1986."
